The favorable results arrived as the company has \u201cresolved matters that have hung over the company for some time\u201d and \u201creturned the company to consistent growth,\u201d said chief executive Bruce Lowthers early Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking during a 35-minute call to discuss Paysafe\u2019s second-quarter results, Lowthers hailed the role the popular\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitaltransactions.net\/clover-remains-a-bright-spot-for-fiserv\/\">Clover<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0point-of-sale technology from\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitaltransactions.net\/the-past-will-not-be-prologue-fiservs-top-executive-promises\/\">Fiserv Inc.<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has played for his company. Paysafe\u2019s deal for Clover, which has been in effect for at least six years, includes a working-capital offer for merchants. Paysafe has particularly focused on the Clover technology over the course of the past year. \u201cClover is doing exceptionally well,\u201d said Lowthers. \u201cOur Clover revenue is up double digits.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"g g-4\">\n<div class=\"g-dyn a-705 c-1\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"g-dyn a-699 c-2\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Momentum like that should flow through the remainder of 2026, Paysafe\u2019s top management said on the call. \u201cWe expect [the fourth quarter] will be the strongest quarter of the year,\u201d said chief financial officer John Crawford, who joined Lowthers on the call. The recent\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitaltransactions.net\/a-world-cup-betting-boom-and-other-digital-transactions-news-briefs-from-1-15-26\/\">World Cup<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0event in soccer \u201cexceeded what we had expected,\u201d Crawford noted, though it was \u201ca small piece of our revenue if you look at sports betting as a whole.\u201d Paysafe in January had forecast 19% of consumers globally planned to place their first online bet on the World Cup.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Revenue for the merchant unit increased 6% in the quarter, to $246.1 million, a robust performance compared to Paysafe\u2019s other business segment, digital wallets, where volume inched up 1%, to $6.6 billion, with a 3% rise in revenue, to $206.6 million<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the quarter, Paysafe registered total payments volume of $43.7 billion.
